Ms. Sanborn’s work related to Product Stewardship includes facilitation of the National Paint Product Stewardship Initiative, authoring of two documents in 2007: Sonoma Extended Producer Responsibility Implementation Plan (2/07) and the Contractor’s report to the CIWMB titled “Framework for Evaluating End-of-Life Product Management Systems in California” (7/07). Ms. Sanborn has traveled in 2008 to British Columbia Canada and to Belgium in March of 2009 to study existing Product Stewardship systems for beverage containers, packaging, and e-waste.
